Electric Bike Tours in Amelia Island

Overview
A Pedego Electric Bike is the best way to experience all that Amelia Island has to offer. A Pedego is just like a regular bike - only better. You can pedal normally (or not) and get power when you want it. It feels like being a kid again!

If our tour times don't work for you, give us a call to inquire about self-guided tours.

Note: All participants must be able to ride a bike. You will need to certify before departure that you have safely ridden a bike in the last 5 years.

Big Talbot Island State Park
During this tour, we ride down 7 mile’s of Amelia Islands designated bike path, over the George Crady Bridge, and into Big Talbot Island where we do a little trail riding down to the beach for a ride along the sand. The power of the bike makes the our trek through the sand easy-breezy. This tour provides a taste of Amelia Islands’ natural beauty and wildlife as we bike through moss-laden live oaks, along natural waterways, and on coastal paths. On the way back, riders have the option to stop at the Shops of Amelia Island for some refreshments prior to returning to the Pedego Store. *Optional stop subject to bike availability

Steve was super helpful and the ride was spectacular! Great way to spend the afternoon. Very reasonable price. The bike paths were paved and very shaded.

I went on the tour because I am interested in buying an e-bike. My tour guide, Nate was delightful. He was extremely friendly and personable. He answered all my questions about e-bikes, shared stories and experiences with me. This company is very sweet. It is so easy to see and feel that they truly care about their customers. The store is setup nice, clean restrooms, and the bikes are very well maintained (and loved). Nate really made this a wonderful experience for me and I am very grateful for his kindness and knowledge.

We are in our late 60’s and knew we couldn’t bike ride from Amelia Island to Big Talbot Island and return on our own pedaling bikes. Enter e-bikes and our worries were over! What a great tour we had! Though we had problems making the reservation online we called the owner and she was great getting our reservation squared away. Don’t hesitate to call if you encounter any difficulty online. On the day of the tour we met Nate, our tour guide, who is friendly, patient and a wonderful teacher about riding ebikes, especially because this was our 1st experience. Nate guided us along the way and knew so much about Amelia Island. He was always thoughtful and checked in with each rider in his tour group along the route. This tour is incredible along scenic and safe bike paths to Big Talbot Island. Going over the bridge to Big Talbot was part of the fun! Thank you, Nate for the experience! You made the day a memorable one!
