Electric Paddle Board Dolphin Watching Tour of Shell Key Preserve

Overview
We put a motor on a paddle board and it's a blast to explore Florida waterways on it!

Enjoy a one-of-a-kind paddling experience in the picturesque Shell Key Preserve where you can see crystal clear water and pristine beaches. On the tour we will complete a 3-mile loop around the preserve, stopping at the beach for a 20 minute break. Along the way we might see dolphins, manatees, different species of fish and birds that are native to the preserve, depending on the tide we will also go through a mangrove tunnel.

Why sit in a kayak when you can stand up and truly take in all the beauty around you.

Our electric paddleboards are wide and stable, even beginners will have a great time. All skill levels are welcome to join, we offer a lesson before each tour.

We typically cruise 4-6 mph but can paddle even faster if we want. Gone are the days where the wind pushes you in the opposite direction, our eSUP keeps you on course going into the breeze. Finally, a watersport that everyone can do!

We had a great time with Native ESup Paddleboard's taking my daughter for a dolphin watch paddleboard and Shell Key visit. She had never done paddle boarding before and was a little bit hesitant and when I mentioned the use of motors she became more intrigued and comfortable with the opportunity. We had a little bit of headwind heading out and the paddle boards and paddleboards/motors did great. We saw four dolphins during our tour and no one fell in. She had a great time and added a wonderful memory for us into the books.

This was our favorite thing we did our entire trip. The guide was amazing, very informative. He showed us the best spots on the island to find sea shells (photos below of what we found) There were so many great shells to find! Water was provided as well the dry bags to ensure your phone is secure. We saw schools of fish, sting rays, a baby shark, and we even had birds swooping down under our boards! The water was crystal clear. ā€” The electric paddle boards made the entire trip a breeze and you could spend more time taking in the views.

Wow what a great and unique experience! We met Richard-our tour guide and he had our paddle boards out and ready to go for the tour. I've never been on a paddle board so I was a little nervous but ready to take on the challenge! He had a dry pack and waterproof phone bags for our use as he went through the basics with us. These boards are actually longer AND wider than your typical paddle board so it was easier to balance on. The truly unique part is that these are motorized boards! You basically use the paddle to steer yourself and wear a controller on your arm to control your speed. It was so cool so zip around on the water! Richard was very knowledgeable and pointed out a ray, fish and birds. The tour took us through a mangrove tunnel and Richard allowed us to stop and take photos, making sure no one was ever left behind. From there we maneuvered to Shell Key island where he gave us more time to get in the water and explore the island. He offered to take group photos and also had a cooler where we were able to store cold waters. It was a lovely tour and I look forward to my next one! No one fell in the water either!
