Join us on a one-of-a-kind, electric-powered catamaran ride for a wildlife tour along one of California's largest tidal waterways. Enjoy a narrated cruise along the Elkhorn Slough, a vibrant and lively wetland located on Highway 1 between Santa Cruz and Monterey in Moss Landing. Scan for otters, sea lions, birds and beyond during a cruise through these peaceful waters.

Wonderful day on catamaran watching otters, seals and a variety of birds. William and Aaron were verifying knowledgeable about the estuary making the trip informative as well as fun.

I took this tour mainly to see sea otters. Wasn’t disappointed. Even got to see several baby pups with moms. I have been on both this tour and the Elkhorn Slough Safari. I prefer MB Eco Tours because you are able to stand because everyone knows that sea otters are on both sides of the slough. With Safari, there are seats on both sides of the boat, front to back, so there’s no room for standing. Plus, you’ll get scolded for standing if you are in the front. Wendy and Wyatt were very friendly. With Safari, the naturalist stayed in the back the entire time so if you sat in the front, there was no interaction with the naturalist. You won’t be disappointed with MB Eco Tours!
