Join us on a one-of-a-kind, electric-powered catamaran ride for a wildlife tour along one of California's largest tidal waterways. Enjoy a narrated cruise along the Elkhorn Slough, a vibrant and lively wetland located on Highway 1 between Santa Cruz and Monterey in Moss Landing. Scan for otters, sea lions, birds and beyond during a cruise through these peaceful waters.

A very pleasant experience. I did not realize that sea otters reproduce year round. August 30th, I was pleased to see several mothers with large pups on their bellies. The guides did a lot of explaining and kept people entertained. I wish they had maneuvered closer to the really large White Pelicans, because I would have liked to have gotten a photo. Perhaps it was shallow over there. Lots of brown pelicans flying nearby. Since this is a moving boat, with lots of fresh air, my Covid 19 concerns were not as high as normal. As a precaution, they do not fill the boat to capacity and there was lots of room to separate myself from others.

it was an awesome tour!!! We were especially amazed by our guide and captain -- they are super informative and super patient and opened our eyes for the wildlife in Monterey Bay! We hope more friends and more people could see this review, and have the opportunity to get to know how amazing they are and join the tour!

The team at Monterey bay Eco Tours was outstanding in their depth of knowledge and approachability. The all electric boat was delightfully stable and whisper-quiet. We had no trouble hearing every bit of the narration and conservation. This was a unique and delightful experience that I will repeat and recommend to all my friends.
