Overview
While Elvis Presley became the biggest name in music history and achieved worldwide fame and fortune, his roots in the Northeast Mississippi city of Tupelo were humble. Guests will experience the rural setting of Elvis' upbringing and see where it all began in the two-room house where the King of Rock ‘n' Roll was born on January 8, 1935, the church he attended in his youth, and see artifacts from his modest beginnings. Sit back and relax on a luxury motorcoach for this narrated 8-hour excursion departing every Friday from The Guest House at Graceland in Memphis to Tupelo, Mississippi.

We took the VIP tour and Tony was our guide. It was absolutely FABULOUS. I can not say enough about it and I highly recommend taking the VIP tour! It is worth every penny. Tony was knowledgeable and patient allowing us extra time if needed and truly made us feel like VIP. He even had some funny “dad” jokes he shared. It truly was one of the best days I’ve ever had. You will not be disappointed taking this tour and I guarantee you will learn something new !!

Graceland is an amazing place to visit no matter what, that much is a given. BUT do not buy the VIP tickets as it seemed virtually no different than the regular experience. We got a different shuttle, and they sent us in to some special room, but it wasn't special at all. There were a few small things on display, but it wasn't anything exciting. Inside the home, the tour felt crowded because people don't know when to move along. There were also quite a few pushy and annoying people (not the fault of Graceland obviously, but I hoped the VIP access would be less crowded). The biggest disappointment was that there was no workers to take our photo in front of the house. A random man offered to take it for us, which was nice of him but unfortunately he got more of the driveway than the actual house 🤦‍♀️. The exhibits across the street were cool to see but I would love some more interactive things and photo ops. Also, the items in all the gift shops are pretty tacky - I wish there were some nicer fashionable shirts that I could actually wear. Obviously visiting Graceland is well worth it, but skip the VIP tour and just get the regular tickets

I took my mom on her number one bucket list item which was Graceland! We took the small group tour with Tony who made the experience magical for her! When she held Elvis’s belt she cried with happiness! I highly recommend the top tier tour! Worth the extra money!
