Elvis Presley Birthplace & Museum

Designated as an historic landmark by the State of Mississippi, Elvis' birthplace, a house built by his father for $180, draws visitors from all over the world and is part of the 15-acre Elvis Presley Park. In addition to the Birthplace, you'll also tour the Elvis Presley Museum, Elvis' childhood church, the "Walk of Life" trail tracing Elvis' career and personal life and see the "Elvis at 13" statue, the Elvis Story Wall and Fountain of Life, representing the 13 years that Elvis lived in Tupelo before moving to Memphis with his family.

Tupelo Hardware Company

Stop by the hardware store where Elvis' mother Gladys purchased his first guitar and put music in the hands of the boy who grew to become a musical legend.

Statue of Elvis

Driving Tour of Tupelo: Drive past some significant landmarks including The Tupelo Fairgrounds, the Elvis Homecoming Statue and schools that Elvis attended.

I loved touring the Graceland mansion a decade ago, and looked forward to showing it to my wife. We were both disappointed. Their website offered a senior / AAA discount which did not appear when buying tickets online. When I asked today for a refund of the discount, I was told no refund would be given. When I explained the reason to a supervisor, she rudely told me no refund. Another disappointment was the chaotic nature of the tour. You need to go across the street from the mansion and hotel, to start the tour. After you return by shuttle from the mansion, you wander through a series of buildings to see various exhibits. Directions were not obvious; you hit a lot of dead ends. And every other building has a huge gift shop. It seems a disservice to "The King" to have his home, gold records and family memorabilia strewn about. For $77 apiece, you expect more order ... and a refund of the discount. We won't be back.

Our VIP tour guide John was the best. He is very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. If you visit Graceland and do the VIP tour ask for John. He’s the best!!!

Very enjoyable tour. Comfortable coach service. Expert Guide and driver with Elvis themed tv service on coach. We got to see all of the Tupelo tour spots including a trip to the hardware store where Elvis purchased his very first guitar. The Elvis birthplace theme park is wonderful and included the church where Elvis worshiped and developed his love of Gospel . Highly recommended. Don't leave this tour out.
