Elvis Presley Birthplace & Museum

Designated as an historic landmark by the State of Mississippi, Elvis' birthplace, a house built by his father for $180, draws visitors from all over the world and is part of the 15-acre Elvis Presley Park. In addition to the Birthplace, you'll also tour the Elvis Presley Museum, Elvis' childhood church, the "Walk of Life" trail tracing Elvis' career and personal life and see the "Elvis at 13" statue, the Elvis Story Wall and Fountain of Life, representing the 13 years that Elvis lived in Tupelo before moving to Memphis with his family.

Tupelo Hardware Company

Stop by the hardware store where Elvis' mother Gladys purchased his first guitar and put music in the hands of the boy who grew to become a musical legend.

Statue of Elvis

Driving Tour of Tupelo: Drive past some significant landmarks including The Tupelo Fairgrounds, the Elvis Homecoming Statue and schools that Elvis attended.

This has been such an amazing experience for the whole family. It definitely exceeded all expectations that we had. It was more than worth the 9 hour drive. Our children loved it as much as we did. The place is magical and helped us understand more about the legend and the man. Kids enjoyed it more than Disney.

We absolutely loved Graceland, it was a great safe haven from the rest of memphis. Someone told us to go to Beale st and we felt like our trainers were going to get robbed. We were offered drugs 5 times in 5 mins. Police station has neon lights. Felt similar about the rest of memphis. So we decided to go to Graceland and pay for a tour to stay safe. We stayed three nights in memphis, and went on the tours three days in a row just to stay out of the streets! Needless to say i give Graceland 5 stars for keeping me alive. Anyway, stay out of memphis.

This was a great trip I went with friends and make sure you ask about the hidden Elvis secret through out the house definitely in the kitchen. Ask about the 2nd floor too! I won't spoil it for you!
