Overview

Weight limits apply: Maximum per-passenger weight is 250lbs. Maximum weight of all passengers combined must not exceed 500lbs.

Passenger weights must be accurately provided at time of booking. Groups reaching a combined weight of 500 lbs will be subject to a weight check upon arrival for their flight. Any individual weighing 300 lbs or more will not be permitted to fly per the limitations of the aircraft. Any cancellation of a planned flight due to weights exceeding the maximum allowable aircraft weight (individual or combined) will be charged at full price.

Showcasing beautiful Fallen Leaf lake, Cascade Lake, Taylor Creek, and Pope Beach, this tour heads to breathtaking Emerald Bay. Surrounded by granite cathedrals and fed by Eagle falls, the lake's only true bay is named for its emerald green waters.

What To Expect

Emerald Bay State Park

Head to the Lake Tahoe Airport where parking is free in the upper lot. Enter the terminal building to find our office on the left inside the main lobby. After meeting your pilot, take part in a short safety briefing prior to heading out to the ramp to board your aircraft.

Cancellation Policy

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

The view was amazing! The pilot was very friendly and informative of the Lake Tahoe area. Would definitely recommend this view of Tahoe from above.

Using Viator messed me up big time !!! I am a big guy about 285 lbs. The Viator website asked my weight and I was honest. At No Time did Viator alert me to the 250 lb weight limit of the helicopter operator. I even over stated the weight of my partner. Imagine my embarrassment when I had to step on the scale and told I couldn't go on the helicopter. So then my girlfriend, who is terrified of heights, had to decide whether to go alone or just skip it. The actual helicopter operator said this is a regular occurrence with Viator and they know all about the weight limit and don't inform customers like me. At the end, my G.F. went and had fun but I won't use Viator again.
