What To Expect
1
Chesapeake Bay
Your two and a half hour cruise, aboard the 42' sailing yacht Eternal Hope, sails out into the Chesapeake Bay, where you will see the historic Cliffs of Calvert and if you are lucky you will see dolphins, ospreys and other amazing habitats or cruise ships in the shipping channel. If there is a strong breeze out of the west, we may sail close to the other side of the bay! It has been said "...that the only problem with the bay is that it is so darn beautiful!"

Our trip was canceled twenty minutes before we were supposed to set sail, even after we had already received confirmation earlier that day that everything looked good. We booked far in advance and arranged our day around it, and we drove a long distance to get there. This was a frustrating and disappointing experience and I wish that there had been better communication.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and frustration caused by the last-minute cancellation. We understand how disappointing it must have been, especially after having arranged your day around the trip. Communication is important to us, and we're sorry that we didn't meet your expectations in this regard. Please know that we are looking into how we can improve in this area to prevent situations like this from happening in the future. We truly hope you'll consider giving us another chance to provide the experience you were hoping for.

I had a lot of fun. It was rainy and windy on my tour, but it was still a lot of fun. This was my first time on a sail boat and the skipper and first mate were awesome.

Kevin and Lloyd were great tour guides. Fun stories, lively conversation. The bay was calm, it was sunny. We had a great time.
