Step back in time and explore the historic Smallwoods Store Museum. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the museum stands frozen in time, a window to a bygone era when the store was the islands trading post and island life revolved around the activities here.

Fakahatchee Strand Preserve State Park

Nature Walk through a grove of ancient cypress trees out to a "gator hole" where female alligators have been nesting for decades.

This day safari was fantastic! Our guide Mark, was so knowledgeable. The Everglades boat ride was great. We saw lots of gators. The nature walk was good (just bring bug spray!). A female gator made her way up onto our walking path but Mark has so much experience that he helped us make it safely around her. It was amazing to see that up close! We didn't see dolphins on our boat ride but most times you will. It was still a great experience and I would highly recommend it! You definitely want Mark as your guide!

Rhett our driver tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable, entertaining and he made the trip the experience that it was! This man knows his plants, animals and Florida Everglades. So entertaining and not dry information . We have been other tours and the guide put you to sleep. Not Rhett. He has a passion for flora fauna and animals of all kinds. We will definitely go again and bring friends and family along.
