This was so fun starting with an enjoyable nature walk to identify native plants and birds. We even saw bear scat! Short drive to the airboat and reptile show. I can't believe I held a snake but Pretzel was so sweet. Our guide Pete was great. He was with us from the nature walk to the reptile show and on the airboat. We saw plenty of alligators catching some rays. This was the highlight of our spring break and both teens said it was the best part of our week. Well done!!

Rhett was an amazing guide. He is full of knowledge and opened our eyes to many beautiful things in nature including plants, animals and birds. We loved both of the boat rides as well and saw many alligators and dolphins. We couldn’t have asked for a better day!

Our hike, reptile experience and airboat tour with Rhett was the absolute highlight of our Floirda vacation for Spring Break! Rhett was very knowledgeable and struck the perfect balance between educating us and our kids (14, 11, and 8) on the native plants, ecosystem, and wildlife in the area and having fun along with us when we came across a 4 foot Eastern Diamond Back Rattlesnake along our hike and got up close and personal with a Roseated Spoonbill while on our airboat ride. Two spectacular sightings! He also promised us alligators and he delivered there too! We saw between 120-150 alligators on our Everglade airboat ride-some just feet from our boat. It was SO MUCH fun. It was also a safe way to have fun as Rhett and our airboat operator took COVID precautions very seriously and all of us were masked for the entire experience. The highlight for my kids was handling the snakes and baby alligator. Unforgettable and epic experience!! Thanks Rhett and Everglades Day Safari!!
