From the beginning until the end of this day, we learned about the Florida Everglades, it's plants and animals and it's ecosystem. Our guide for the day was educated in wildlife and ecotourism. Our guide on the boat trip was highly knowledgeable about marine wildlife. We learned more about dolphins than on any other tour and saw them closer up than on any other tour that we had taken. We saw more alligators later in the tour than we had ever seen. Easy hiking in between. From the beginning to the end, the day was fun and interesting.

Our group of 8, throughly enjoyed our day with Pete touring the Everglades. Pete was fun, knowledgeable, and had a great eye for spotting wildlife. The day began with Pete picking us all up at our hotel. We learned many interesting facts and saw lots of birds on the way to and from the Everglades. We loved the nature walk on the boardwalk though the Cypress Trees and saw birds, snakes and gators. We also learned about different trees growing in the area. The highlight of the day was the boat ride around Ten Thousand Islands. Our boat Captain Travis was great and was able to get the Dolphins to jump in our wake. What an awesome experience. We also enjoyed browsing through the historic Smallwood’s Store Museum. We had a great lunch on the water at Triad Seafood Cafe in Everglades City. We saw lots more Gators driving through the Big Cypress National Preserve. Lastly, we went on a airboat ride in Lake Trafford. What a fun experience to see so many gators up close. The natural.beauty of the area is unbelievable. We all loved everything about this tour. I would highly recommend this tour.

Ben was an awesome tour guide. His knowledge was never ending. It was a long day filled with great picture taking opportunities, good food, walking, two boat rides, lots of birds, plants/trees, and gators. Would highly recommend it!
