Knowledgeable and friendly guides, who knew the area and who were willing and able to find native wildlife, including birds, dolphins, and alligators. The bus was comfortable and the boats were in good condition. The lunch options were wide and the food was generous and good.

As someone who loves wetlands this was a must do. And Ecosafari's did not let us down. We were picked up on time and off we went. The Everglades are a vast stretch of wetlands, with Grasslands at the top merging with timbered reaches, and finally entering the mangroves on the entrance to The Bay of Mexico. Our guide Zac was so knowledgeable. The last area , the Mangroves was a highlight for us ,with the Rosette Spoonbill displaying it's pink plumage on demand, followed by the surfing Dolphins.Tristian Daniels was our boat captain, and he was brilliant. A day to remember.

We chose this tour as we wanted to do an 'eco' safari tour where you see all the animals in their natural habitat as opposed to some of those dodgy tours offering 'live gator shows' you see advertised. We were incredibly lucky with this excursion, as only one other person was booked in on the same day, so that meant it was just the three of us and our tour guide, Zak. Zak was incredibly knowledgeable and obviously passionate about the everglades and its animal inhabitants, as well as the flora of the area. It was a comprehensive tour with lots to do and see and Zak even pulled over a few times so we could take a look at different birds or alligators lounging on the water's edge. We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed a day of sun, which meant we got to do all the planned activities: a boat ride around the mangrove forest, an airboat ride and a walk through parts of the national park itself. We were running ahead of time at every stage (because there was only three of us) so we got to take our time and even do some extra little stops. I cannot recommend this tour highly enough. Zak was so accommodating, making sure we had enough time at each stop to enjoy the sights and even dropped us closer to our hotel than the original pick up point so we could get back more easily.
