Step back in time and explore the historic Smallwoods Store Museum. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the museum stands frozen in time, a window to a bygone era when the store was the islands trading post and island life revolved around the activities here.

Fakahatchee Strand Preserve State Park

Nature Walk through a grove of ancient cypress trees out to a "gator hole" where female alligators have been nesting for decades.

It was fantastic! We were only 4 in the group. We truly lucked out with the our guide named Adam. What a knowledgeable and fun guide. We learned so much! Lunch was also great, we had a private room but we were told, it is not always like that. All in all I would truly recommend it!

Way way too much time in the van. The hike was about 15 minutes. The scenic drive was a few hundred yards down a road next to a canal. There were some alligators in the water we could see through the van windows. The boat rides were good. The air boat was only about 30 min though.

Adam, our guide was engaging and very knowledgeable. We had 6 adults and 2 boys (ages 8 and 7) on the day trip and we all had fun. The little boys liked the airboat ride the best. Lunch was handled very efficiently although Adam thought the restaurant was slow and it was very good. I'd give an unqualified recommendation to all aspects of the tour. Way to Go Adam!
