We went on the evening kayak tour with Matthew. He was an excellent guide who took his time to explain anything and everything pertaining to safety, flora and fauna. The tour itself is physically undemanding for most people as the waterways are very calm. Absolute beginners may struggle occasionally to navigate some sections but anyone with a modicum of experience with a kayak should do just fine. You will see a wide variety of birds and plants and, with any luck, more than a few gators. The evening tour in the right weather has the added bonus of revealing the wonders of the heavens which so many of us do not typically see due to urban light pollution. If you happen to have Matthew as your guide, that's the icing on the cake.

The tour was everything they advertised. Mangrove tunnels and wildlife were tremendous. Our guide Kenzie was delightful, knowledgeable and in tune with the group. Many thanks for the wonderful experience.

We spent around 2 and a half hours on the water with Matthew as our guide and it was amazing! The early start meant the light was so pretty and Matthew was an excellent guide - very informative, lovely guy. Plenty of wildlife to see, paddling through the mangrove tunnels with so many Tillandsia was like nothing else. Turner River was beautiful with lots of bird species, as well as turtles and gators! Magic!
