John picked us up right on time and after a quick stop to pick up another couple we were off to the everglades. Even though it was raining quite a bit, no problems. The airboat was covered so we were quite dry. Saw a couple of gators up close as well as several bird species. Good commentary on the local ecosystem. If you've never been in an airboat be aware they're really loud when they go to speed. After the boat got our picture taken holding a small gator then were treated to an alligator show. Van right back to the hotel. Pleasant day indeed in spite of the weather.

Our favorite part was a toss up between the gator show and the boat ride. My girls loved that we saw gators.

Such a fun excursion! We saw a lot of alligators on the boat and the show afterwards was very entertaining. I also liked that they pick you up at your hotel so you don't have to worry about transportation.
