For a E-Bike tour, there wasn’t much biking. Just biking around the parking lot of the winery. Guide Danny was good but that’s it. Expensive for hardly any biking

Sorry for your less-than-expected experience. Our Verde River has been running at record-setting levels cutting off a big portion of the trail we normally use. Please contact us and we would like to provide you with a gift card you may use to book another adventure with us or you may gift this to anyone you wish.

We did the Water to Wine tour in March of 2020 & we had such a great time we wanted to do it again. Sadly, this time our Water to Wine tour was canceled due to high water/flooding on the river so we switched to an e-bike tour of Alcantara Winery instead. It ended up being just me, my husband, and Danny the guide. We had never used an e bike before, but Danny gave us a good rundown on how to operate the bikes & we were off to cruise around the winery. It was fairly easy, there were a couple of steeper slopes we had to peddle up, but it wasn’t that difficult. We stopped at several scenic overlooks, got a tour of where the wine is made, we stopped at the wedding chapel, which is beautiful, and generally had a good day. In addition to all the information about the winery, Danny told us about many of the different tours offered by Verde Adventures, so next time we are in the area we will hope for better weather & definitely go on other tours. We might just stay in Cottonwood vs staying in Sedona because Verde Adventures does all the fun things! Oh, and the wine and food at the winery were great, too. We brought several bottles back home to Florida with us!

It's wonderful to hear about your experience, even though your original "Water to Wine" tour was canceled due to high water and flooding on the river. Switching to an e-bike tour at Alcantara Winery sounds like a great alternative, and the smaller, more intimate group with just you, your husband, and Danny as your guide must have been a unique and enjoyable experience. Exploring the winery on e-bikes, with stops at scenic overlooks, a tour of the wine-making process, and a visit to the wedding chapel, sounds like a fantastic day. Danny's guidance on how to operate the e-bikes and the additional information about Verde Adventures' other tours is valuable for planning future visits to the area. Staying in Cottonwood instead of Sedona for easier access to Verde Adventures' activities sounds like a great idea. And, of course, enjoying the wine and food at Alcantara Winery and bringing some bottles back to Florida is a great way to extend the enjoyment of your trip. It seems like you've had a memorable and enjoyable time despite the change in plans. Here's to more exciting adventures and explorations in the future!

Scott was our guide and he was great. Informative and fun to talk with. He made sure we were comfortable on the e bikes and that we were safe. The downside was the winemakers were not there so we didn’t get to see that, probably normal for early November.
