We’re very lucky to see the Mauna Loa eruption, though we were very limited in how close we could get and couldn’t stay for long because of high traffic. Helicopter was jammed with 7 people which made it a little uncomfortable. Pilot was great and communicated really well. Everything else felt a little hurried as they tried to keep up with massive demand.

Ground crew was amazing. Very helpful and supportive after the flight when my wife was feeling a little motion sick. Our pilot Ryan was very knowledgeable about the island and provided a smooth flight the entire time. We were lucky enough to only have one other couple of the trip with us so there was ample space in the helicopter. Looking into the crater of Kilauea was great but seeing the waterfalls was breathtaking.

Incredible way to see the Island that most people never get to experience. Worth the price if it is a once in a lifetime trip. Worth paying ahed for premium seating I got Copilot seat which is best in the trip. Book early and reserve this seat if you can.
