Experience Raptors and Falconry

Overview

A GROUP of attendees are given the opportunity for a unique experience into the life of a Raptor with an up close and personal encounter with Hawks, Falcons and Owls.

With the assistance of a licensed Falconer, you will learn the biology, conservation, field identification, traits, behaviors, natural history, and the importance of raptors.

Following a brief instruction guests will be fitted with a gauntlet and join a trained Hawk on a short walk – witness the agility and skill as she flies from perch to perch while swooping back to the Falconer’s gauntlet.

This was an amazing experience. Kathleen is very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. The experience was relaxed, fun and we learned a lot. She was patient and happy to answer all our questions. The raptors were amazing and interaction was awwsome. I'd recommend to everyone!

This is an amazing experience! Being up close and seeing the Harris' hawks, eagle owl, and Lannar falcon was deeply moving and joyful: something to be remembered for a lifetime. The intricate feathering and colorings is unreal. We got some awesome pictures. Raptor Adventures' Kathleen is a great guide to these birds and has great knowledge to share. Everyone who goes is into an exceptional treat! I can't wait to tell others and take other family members to have a maximum engagement with such magnificent creatures.

This was truly an awesome experience. Kathleen was extremely knowledgeable and patient with us. She made sure we were comfortable handling the birds. While this was our first experience being up close and personal with hawks, we were very comfortable and eager to work with them again. Raptors are truly amazing creatures. Kathleen is truly an amazing person. I would definitely do this again.
