I love what I do. I love wine, the beauty of Oregon and the gentleness of Pinot Noir … all the things you’ll discover and learn as we spend the day together getting to know what makes Willamette Valley so unique. I’ll take you to boutique-style wineries where you’ll have authentic experiences, learn how wine is made, specific attributes of how weather effects grape growing, learn how certain wines compliment different foods and sometimes the chance to meet the winemaker. We’ll discover the magnificence of the rolling hills and vistas that make this area a destination.

You’ll get to know and enjoy some of the types of wine grown in the Willamette Valley and surrounding areas.

Here we are going to taste some great Rose and Pinot Noir

Domaine Divio

This winery is known for it's Pinot Gris Chardonnay and Pinot Noir which we will be able to taste as well. We are going to have our picnic style lunch here as well.

Eminent Domaine

This winery is also known for it's amazing Chardonnay and single clone Pinot noir which we will be able to taste

Easily the highlight of my Oregon trip! Niko was incredibly welcoming, kind, knowledgeable, and charismatic. The day was perfectly planned. Niko selected three fantastic wineries for us to visit - each one seemingly more beautiful than the next. We learned so much about the region, climate, winemaking process (in Oregon & beyond!) Niko even brought his camera and took some beautiful (& artistic) shots to capture the day. I can't wait to do another tour with Niko soon - do yourself a favor and book this now!

We are so glad that we booked this tour with Niko. As seasoned travelers, we are always skeptical of "tours" but this was a unique and personalized experience and we could not have asked for a better introduction to Willamette Valley and great wines. Niko was extremely knowledgeable about the region and just a fun person to be around all day. We had our 3 year old in tow and he made it special for her as well. We visited small, family-owned wineries where we not only tasted good wines but had a chance to meet with the winemakers and hear firsthand about the history of their vineyard. If we did this on our own we would have ended up at the tourist, commercialized ones. LOVED everything about this experience.

A highlight of my recent Portland vacation was spending a day on a Willamette Valley wine tour curated by Niko through works4wine. We visited two amazing wineries. Niko was very knowledgeable about wine and the history of the valley and was happy to answer my many questions. Just as importantly, he made the day so casual and fun. I highly recommend a tour with Niko for any traveler to the Portland area. O
