Overview

I love what I do. I love wine, the beauty of Oregon and the gentleness of Pinot Noir … all the things you’ll discover and learn as we spend the day together getting to know what makes Willamette Valley so unique. I’ll take you to boutique-style wineries where you’ll have authentic experiences, learn how wine is made, specific attributes of how weather effects grape growing, learn how certain wines compliment different foods and sometimes the chance to meet the winemaker. We’ll discover the magnificence of the rolling hills and vistas that make this area a destination.

You’ll get to know and enjoy some of the types of wine grown in the Willamette Valley and surrounding areas.

Here we are going to taste some great Rose and Pinot Noir

Domaine Divio

This winery is known for it's Pinot Gris Chardonnay and Pinot Noir which we will be able to taste as well. We are going to have our picnic style lunch here as well.

Eminent Domaine

This winery is also known for it's amazing Chardonnay and single clone Pinot noir which we will be able to taste

Niko knows wine and he knows the best wineries to visit for wine tastings. He arranged a special tour for a group of us and it couldn't have been more fun. Vineyard staff like him, so they're extra accommodating to his groups. The wine was fantastic, too!

I highly recommending booking with Niko! Not only is he incredibly knowledgeable and about wine, he is friendly, funny, and interesting. Our conversations at the vineyards and in the car made our day that much more enjoyable. He has also cultivated relationships at vineyards where they’re also enthusiastic about creating a special experience for visitors. We were able to speak to the owners at all three vineyards and even got to sit with the owner at Bell’s Up as he walked us through the tasting. It was a great experience, and we’ll definitely call him if we’re back in Portland.

Niko was absolutely excellent. We arranged a tour through the concierge at our Hotel a few weeks out from our Anniversary trip. Niko called and asked what wines we like, this was great because my wife only really likes white wine. The day was fantastic, picked us up from the hotel on the hottest day of the year in Portland. We visited 3 great vineyards all with excellent white wine choices, and he accompanied the lunchtime visit with a cheese board matched to the wines we would be drinking. The attention to detail, local knowledge and fantastic service was only exceeded by the excellent conversation. If you want a great tour - book with Niko.
