For my daughter's birthday, she wanted to go back to Chocolate Kingdom. We have been there 2 other times and did the tours then too. We loved it then. This time, not so much. Our tour was at 4pm on a Friday. There were SO many people for the tour. The very first room where you watch the first video, was so packed everyone was squeezed together. They were still letting more people in to stand along the sides. Our tour guide, I'm sure is a great girl, but was not meant for a tour of this size. You could barely hear her at all when she spoke. She lost control of the tour so many times because no one could hear her and they lost interest. I was very disappointed this time, because I had bragged about previous visits. This time I brought a friend with her daughter and they left with the thoughts of it was a waste of time. I will say, for $16.95 a person to not be able to enjoy the tour was too much. If you're going to over fill your tours, at least have 2 people to keep things moving. Also, something needs to be done with the room with the Chocolate Kingdom. You have a great display that could be so impressive, but the whole room is covered in black. It makes it look small and not so inviting.

Hello Kalyqo, Thank you so much for coming to Chocolate Kingdom for the third time... They say that third time is a charm, but I guess we didn't come through. Just so you know, you came in the busiest day we ever had. Not only we were selling out of every tour on that day but we also had 400 campers from the YMCA throughout the day taking the tour and also taking part of our hands on chocolate class. For larger tours, we usually have the tour guide take a speaker with them so that they can project their voice, however, on that day. the speaker was used in the room where the kids were making the chocolates. Because we knew we were so busy on that day, we did have one of our staff help the tour guides with passing out the samples throughout the tour to get things moving. We do appreciate you coming up again and sad that we came up short. Please call us next time before you come so that we can advice on availability for a specific date. We hope next time we'll be able to make you as happy as you were before. We will do everything possible to make it worth it. Thanks again for being a repeat customer.

Staff seem like they are unhappy. Tour was childish. They claimed to make chocolate from the bean to the bar, yet they have boxes of different brand chocolates in the factory. Looks like a fraud tour

This review was written by a disgruntled ex employee that was let go a long time ago. It's not a real review.

It was my wife's birthday and she wanted to do the tour. So we started out to find this chocolate oasis. When we got there we were a little late for the tour but got in not long after it started. After a short film this very excited tour guide started the tour. William is his name and he is a fantastic tour guide. His enthusiasm for this is great. He gets the crowd involved and you can tell he know what he's taking about. You learn the history of how chocolate came to be to where it is now. You learn about the great names of NestlƩ, Hershey and others came to be. You get to sample a coco bean and a chocolate drink on the tour. You follow a cute cartoon story line with a prince and dragon. At the end you get to see how it's all processed and get to taste along the way. Again if you get the chance have William be the one to do your tour.
