Overview

We offer robust fat tire e-bikes which are perfectly suited for the gravel terrain of Acadia's Carriage Roads, providing ample comfort and stability. These automobile-free roads offer intimate access to Jordan Pond House, Eagle Lake, Day Mountain, the Rockefeller bridges, and much more. Keep an eye out for wildlife such as: Bald Eagles, Deer, Porcupine, and Beavers (ask our staff where to find their homes). Our four hour rentals allow adventurers and families alike to comfortably explore 20-30 miles of the park. To ensure you get the most out of your trip, we will provide a map guide and share our personal recommendations along with easy to follow directions to the trails.

An amazing way to see the park via the Carriage Roads. The staff was super helpful in making sure that we were comfortable with the bikes and had all of the key points to visit. Highly recommend if you are looking for something adventures.

Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff, good quality e-bikes that were easy to master, and one of the best bike paths in the country. Very scenic! Our self-directed 4-hour trip was just right for our 5 -person group (ages 25 to 65) and the map and directions given to us were easy to follow. There's a short part through downtown roads (less than 1/4 mile) but it looked and felt safe. We would highly recommend Fat-Tire E-Bike Rental to our friends.

We had the best time, it was our favorite day of the cruise! The bikes made it so easy for us to see the park and town in a short stop. The crew at Fat-tire was excellent!!
