Overview

On this small, exclusive experience (6 riders max), guests will enjoy a super-fun musical electric bicycle tour on Coronado's most beautiful coastal bike paths, scenic photo hotspots, and areas of historical interest.

Inspired by the woody wagons of California’s surf culture, Fat Woody Beach Cruisers are artisan handcrafted e-bikes. If you’re looking for a truly unique & memorable southern California experience, take a ride on one of these incredibly unique beach cruisers!

Guests must have ‘expert proficiency’ riding skills and be 21+ years old, 16+ when accompanied by parent. Riders MUST be able to put both feet on the ground, a 29”+ inseam measured floor to crotch. Because these e-bikes weigh 90+lbs, shorter legs require riders to lean the bike to one side with all the weight on one leg, resulting in potential falls, injury and equipment damage. No exceptions to this requirement.

Riders must be 21+ years old, Parents wanting to bring teen riders should call Fat Woody.
Rider’s must be able to put both feet down on the ground while seated on the cruiser. Typically 5’2” and taller - minimum 29” inseam floor to crotch.
Expert Rider Skills: Riders must have ‘expert proficiency’ bicycle riding skills - Defined as those who ride bicycles regularly. Not recommended for novice riders or those who haven’t ridden in years.
During the familiarization session in the park, riders will be given the opportunity to demonstrate their riding skills before we begin the tour. For safety reasons, Fat Woody reserves the right to cancel any tour due to insufficient rider capabilities. Riders will be given a refund less 20% cancellation fee.
Loose clothing that hangs down in close proximity to wheel spokes (long skirts, jackets around waist) are not recommended and could be potentially dangerous. For safety reasons, Fat Woody reserves the right to cancel any tour due to unsafe clothing that may cause potential rider injury.
Maximum Weight: 300 lbs.

Book this adventure for yourself and a group of friends or family. You will not regret it. I was a bit nervous about an electric bike , As I don’t ride bikes as often and it was a first time on these personally , constructed FUN BIKES! Ken immediately put us at ease with a safety session. Luckily for us we had a personal tour. The information and history of the area was perfect!! The man should really be the Mayor of Coronado!! I We loved cruising to his great playlist. We got lots of stares and when we stopped we kept hearing “ this looks so fun”. We are on a 10 day anniversary tour and I am sure this was hands down the most fun thing we will do. Thanks Ken for sharing your passion

This was hands down the BEST TIME! Ken is not only a master craftsman (these bikes are works of art!) but he is also a fountain of knowledge on all things San Diego. It truly felt like we had just hung out with a friend after our trip was over. A really smart, funny friend! Haha…10/10 RECOMMEND !!

Super fun and interesting! Ken provided AMAZING “Fat Woody” bikes and a wealth of information about Coronado. Ken is also an excellent photographer; he captured great photos in a few of the key places. Would highly recommend the experience.
