Field of Dreams Movie Site Guided Home Tour in Dyersville

Overview
Enjoy stepping into the first level of the home of Ray and Annie Kinsella, resembling what it looked like during the movie "Field of Dreams" for this live guided, 30-minute, group tour. You will hear stories in specific parts of the home to recollect the various scenes filmed inside the beautiful clapboard farm house built in the early 1870's. You'll learn how the idyllic farm was selected, what parts of the farmhouse changed for the movie, and insider secrets from the filming on the farm. Finally, the tour includes your turn on the swing on the famous porch, and photography (without flash inside the home) is encouraged.

Took my sister 5 hr drive for her birthday. Met my sister and her husband there too. Went to the gate my sister n her husband donated money for them and us, $20 each vehicle. I also donated $20 not knowing they donated for us and the man at the gate never said anything and gladly accepted my donation, ripoff. So it's pretty simple visit, knowing the film was cool to put it together while visiting. Visited gift shop and like every gift shop outrageous price on things , a kids ABC book $25 Took the house tour , what a rip off $20 to walk in a 4 room downstairs of the house, story told by Craig comparing the movie scenes to the poorly decorated house. What a joke, save your time and money. This is not worth a drive just to see, if you are in the area then wouldn't be a bad stop. šŸ˜‰ glad we went but watch the BS about touring. Walked in the corn 🌽 field and there were only like maybe 10 rows of corn the rest of the field was picked. They tend to build more, glad we came now instead of after the build on of 300 acres, couldn't imagine the rest being a rip off. It was an experience.

I enjoyed seeing the house inside and out. However if I was trying to replicate everything in the house to the movie I would have gone to universal and tried to buy back as much of the original props as I could to make it more authentic. It is still a very cool experience! I don’t know if there’s anything upstairs, but I would have liked to seen the upstairs. Of course the baseball field with the corn rows behind it, was really amazing to see. If you’re a fan of the movie, this is a must-see!

A very thorough tour and Craig was a very personable tour guide! He was very knowledgeable of the site and the behind the scenes of the film!
