We loved our tour guide, Nick, who provided lots of great information and tips for our visit to Niagra Falls, and having him take care of our Cave of the Winds reservations was great and a huge time saver! BTW, eat at Savor (another Nick recommendation)! That being said, we ended up only doing the tour and Cave of the Winds that day, so I feel we didn't really get our money's worth. It's not the fault of Niagra Adventure Tours. The day we went (July 5), there was a traffic snafu, so the trolley wasn't running across to the main land, just circulating around the island, then a separate trolley route circulating to the visitor's center, etc. After Cave of the Winds (a must do!), we walked across to the main land (remember the trolley wasn't running), we had lunch, then headed over to the Maid of the Mist. We waited in line for 45 minutes to be told it would be another 90 minutes to get to the boat (at this point it was 3pm), then a recent passenger said it was another hour and 45 minutes wait for the elevator to get back up. It was really hot that day, and my family decided we didn't have it in us to spend over 4 hours for one thing waiting in the hot sun. Since we knew we still had to walk back across the bridge to get to our car, we called it quits on everything else. If I could do it again, I have to be honest and say I would have just gotten to the area earlier and bought tickets separately for Cave of the Winds and Maid of the Mist. If I could have booked the history tour separately, I would have done that, because Nick was great!
