Experience the beauty of a rafting trip along the Colorado River near Fisher Towers, a short drive from Moab. Seemingly untouched by civilization, the landscape of stunning red rock canyons cut by the Colorado River provides awe-inspiring vistas throughout the day. Between thrilling bouncy rapids, you can swim, take photos and listen as your guide shares informative commentary about the ecology, wildlife and human history of the region.

This full-day trip starts by rafting upstream from Moab near stunning Fisher Towers and cover a 14-mile (22-km) section of the Colorado River. A combination of stunning canyon scenery and splashy white water makes for a fun day and photographer’s dream. Between rapids, drift lazily between soaring canyon walls and marvel at the red rock landscape along the river. At lunchtime, your guides serve a buffet-style picnic during a stop on a riverside beach.

Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
All passenger weights MUST be advised at time of booking; minimum weight requirement is 50 lbs (23 kg)
Inflatable kayaks are available upon request at no charge, please provide the request in the special requirements field at the time of booking
Please note, prior to departure, all travelers will be required to sign a liability release
Minimum age is 8 years
It is recommended to bring: Sturdy footwear (no shoes like flip flops/sandals such as Chaco's are acceptable), quick dry clothing, spring or fall rain suit, swimsuit or fast drying shorts, sun screen, lip balm, hat and a camera (preferably waterproof)
Every trip needs a minimum of 4 individuals to go out, otherwise the trip is tentative/cannot run if the min. # of people isn't met the day prior

A great trip. Katie was our skillful guide and was really friendly and easy to talk to. Lunch was chicken caesar wraps, cookies and chips. You can do either the morning or the afternoon, or the full day trip. The rapids were pretty mild, but you would get wet on a couple of them. Water level was fairly low and we managed not to get stuck anywhwere. Saw some blue herons and bighorn sheep. Overall a great experience. Highly recommended!

Wonderful family rafting trip on the Colorado. Our guide, Tiana, was very personable and professional as well as being extremely knowledgeable about the area. The scenery was incredible and the weather/water temperature ideal. Definitely an experience our family will treasure for years to come.
