If you are in Philadelphia, you absolutely must go on this tour. They will show you the most popular food places, as well as some hidden gems too! Philly has amazing food! So come on down and go on this tour! I went on this tour after a little bit when I moved to Philly, I do not regret it at all!

We were in town for a few days, therefore, prior to visiting, I did quick search and located this tour. At the time, only three tickets were left, I only needed two!! Our guide, Adam was super awesome! The tour started at noon, but I knew it advanced I'd be late... no issues at all. All the stops and history gained about certain landmarks... amazing! I highly recommend this tour!

I was in Philadelphia for a reunion with 4 childhood friends, and we thought the food tour would be a fun way for the ones new to the city to learn about some traditions and for those of us who had been here before to enjoy familiar Philly goodies and maybe learn something new about the city. The tour was an absolute success in both ways! Our tour guide, Adam, was extremely knowledgeable, personable, and just plain fun. Even though I had lived in Philadelphia for 7 years, many moons ago, I learned many new facts about the city and about the foods I'd eaten a zillion times (for example, I didn't know how Philly cheese steaks came to be). Food was plentiful (I had been on a food tour in NYC, and this was more food than that) and good. I especially enjoyed our stops at Del Frisco's amazing restaurant in the old bank building and the stop at the old Wanamaker Department Store to see the eagle and the pipe organ. I'd seen them both before, but Adam added facts that I hadn't known. The timing of the tour was perfect - well-paced. Just enough sitting time. I highly recommend this tour to both tourists and residents of Philly - it's just plain fun. Maybe if you're lucky, you'll get Adam for your tour guide. As for me, I'll be taking another food tour next time I'm in town.
