Adam was an awesome tour guide with so much information about the history of Philadelphia. We truly enjoyed listening to the information and learning about this area. The food on the tour was local to the area, which is the main reason we did this tour. Great treats for anyone wanting to try what the locals rave about! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was there were too many people on the tour. 23 people plus Adam. Should be limited. You cannot hear everything Adam is saying and with the stops being in smaller sized restaurants (due to the historical bldgs), it was very crowded and not so enjoyable. That would be the only downfall to a good food tour!

My daughter booked us on this tour along with our grandchildren - ages 13,14. The meeting place for the tour is in the lobby of Liberty Mall at Liberty Place, and by luck we ended up in the parking garage under the mall. The tour covered a brief history of the city, the state and the beginnings of our nation. Our tour guide, Adam, did an excellent job and I recommend you ask for him if theyā€™ll let you. My foodie highlight was, of course, the philly cheese steak which was delicious. There were countless other scrumptious food offerings in the Reading Market where the tour ended so go for it foodies!!
