This was an amazing experience. We went on their opening day and so happy we did. We watched both movies, Naupaka and Lahaina. Naupaka displayed gorgeous scenery and was very fun all while seated in comfortable seats but with effects like movement, scents and some misting. Lahaina also was spectacular and very profound with imagery from the fires and a beautiful dedication. If you get the opportunity, go!

This event just opened-we were not sure what to expect. IT WAS FABULOUS!!!! I would recommend it to everyone, children included. The price was reasonable. It is an 'immersive' type of thing-you are in comfortable seats with a surround type screen. The seats move a bit and you get 'misted' with water a few times-that only added to the fun. You see SO much of Hawaii that you could never see any other way. Stunning, beautiful, breathtaking, FUN!! Don't be mislead by the slightly lame 'intro' where you sit on benches and the 'stories' are told. Basically, it's a device to allow the previous viewers to exit before the next group enters the small theatre. Included a very moving tribute to the Lahaina fires. Even the skeptics in our group agreed it was really great and worthwhile

The photography and views are amazing! The experience of the Flight of Aloha is in some ways more exciting than an actual helicopter flight, as you get to see quite a bit of scenery in a very short time. Your seat moves with the helicopter and you feel the ocean spray as you fly close over the ocean. One thing I would caution about that - I got sprayed directly in my right eye twice causing some minor watering, and this could be an issue with people wearing contact lenses. Overall it was an amazing flight I would highly recommend.
