Overview

Florida bioluminescence is the #1 kayaking trip in the Orlando, Cocoa beach area. We are located about an hour from Universal Studios and The Walt Disney world area theme parks. Our "tourist tours or "visitor tours", as the locals would call them, are ideal for a romantic evening on the water or an expedition in the name of science with the little ones (as long as they are over 5yrs of age). Our tour guides will guide you through the Indian River lagoon and show you something truly magical as we make our way through mangrove trails and the shallow flats of the lagoon.

We will spend a leisurely 90 mins on the water during this tour. You may want to leave the camera at home for this excursion, as the bioluminescence is very hard to photograph unless you have professional equipment.

It was super nice. We took a midnight tour, so it was very dark, and it allowed us to enjoy bioluminescence. The tour guide was very nice and knowledgeble. Just as a suggestion (take bug spray, cause there are a lot of mosquitos, if no wind)...

We planned this 90 minute kayak adventure for my son's 43rd birthday - it was something different and fun that ages 76-9 could participate in. As 30 year residents of Florida - a state we love - this was something we had never done. Truth be told, I did wake up the night before the trip worrying about alligators, but calmed my fears, given that in my 30 years, I've only seen 4 gators, at a distance (outside Gator land!). The night was gorgeous; instructors Brenda & Sean (I think!) were friendly, knowledgeable, and very professional. The 90 minutes was perfect for the 76 year old grandpa and the 9 year old grandchild (who did not paddle, but could have - she sat between her parents). The bioluminescent fish were incredible; the view of the Milky Way outstanding! Definitely recommend this - and not a gator in sight! :)

Only 5 places in the world to see this! How do I know that? Because Guy of Florida Adventurer Inc was an amazing kayak guide. My daughter and I went on Saturday evening. Everything is extremely organized and safety conscience. Guy was so knowledgeable about the ecosystem. He was interesting and fun to listen to while still being very aware of the safety of all 10 of us. It was like an under water magic show watching the fish, dolphin, etc swim and light up the water. I have never seen so many stars in the sky! Highly recommend!!
