Overview

Florida bioluminescence is the #1 kayaking trip in the Orlando, Cocoa beach area. We are located about an hour from Universal Studios and The Walt Disney world area theme parks. Our "tourist tours or "visitor tours", as the locals would call them, are ideal for a romantic evening on the water or an expedition in the name of science with the little ones (as long as they are over 5yrs of age). Our tour guides will guide you through the Indian River lagoon and show you something truly magical as we make our way through mangrove trails and the shallow flats of the lagoon.

We will spend a leisurely 90 mins on the water during this tour. You may want to leave the camera at home for this excursion, as the bioluminescence is very hard to photograph unless you have professional equipment.

Pirate and Kelly were amazing tour guides! They educated us on the history of Florida and the wildlife. We went to the wrong address and they rescheduled our tour with no issues. Would definitely recommend booking with Florida adventurer, especially with pirate and Kelly! What a great way to end my vacation.

We took our two kids.. they didn’t get to see anything so they were pretty disappointed. It was nice to kayak around the lagoons. I do wish the guides were able to somehow save an example of the bioluminescence jelly fish just so kids could see an example. It’s a great idea but if I knew we wouldn’t see anything I probably would have done the sunset tour.

We went out with Josiah and Bonnie and they were wonderful. I've been out on this water previously in July of last year and you can see a lot more, but they did their best to find interesting things for us. A manatee rocked our kayak and we got to hold a glowing baby jellyfish in our hands! I highly suggest going during the summer months or earlier in the day to see more wildlife in the water!
