Overview

Florida bioluminescence is the #1 kayaking trip in the Orlando, Cocoa beach area. We are located about an hour from Universal Studios and The Walt Disney world area theme parks. Our "tourist tours or "visitor tours", as the locals would call them, are ideal for a romantic evening on the water or an expedition in the name of science with the little ones (as long as they are over 5yrs of age). Our tour guides will guide you through the Indian River lagoon and show you something truly magical as we make our way through mangrove trails and the shallow flats of the lagoon.

We will spend a leisurely 90 mins on the water during this tour. You may want to leave the camera at home for this excursion, as the bioluminescence is very hard to photograph unless you have professional equipment.

This is a MUST EXPERIENCE for all ages!! I brought my son and niece last night and they absolutely enjoyed it as much as I did. I heard "it's like being in a Disney movie" , which made me smile. Our guide Chuck was wonderful both in instructions and patience allowing us to discover Florida's wonders during our trip as he shared details about the experience. He really engaged the kids with facts and stories. The wind picked up a bit in the end and he had us paddle out a bit against it and just when I started to wonder why we were going this way Chuck had us turn the bow and let the current / wind blow us in to the shore. We were able to sit still and enjoy riding the tiny waves all the way back in as they sparkled and glowed with activity all around us. It was a fantastic Florida experience, can't believe I've lived here 20 years and had never gone before. Highly recommend and definitely ask for Chuck as your guide! Thank you Fla-Adventurer!!!
