Florida Bioluminescence Kayaking Tour | Haulover canal (Titusville)

Overview
Florida bioluminescence is the #1 kayaking trip in the Orlando, Cocoa beach area. We are located about an hour from Universal Studios and The Walt Disney world area theme parks. Our "tourist tours or "visitor tours", as the locals would call them, are ideal for a romantic evening on the water or an expedition in the name of science with the little ones (as long as they are over 5yrs of age). Our tour guides will guide you through the Indian River lagoon and show you something truly magical as we make our way through mangrove trails and the shallow flats of the lagoon.

We will spend a leisurely 90 mins on the water during this tour. You may want to leave the camera at home for this excursion, as the bioluminescence is very hard to photograph unless you have professional equipment.

This was a great way to end our day after visiting the Kennedy Space Center. Everything went smoothly, and Chuck and Dustin were great about keeping the group together. (It was quite DARK out there.) Chuck gave lots of helpful and interesting details about the lagoon and wildlife. The only thing I wish I had known was to bring bug spray, as the mosquitoes were quite hungry while we were waiting to get loaded into the kayaks. We saw a lot of people in long sleeves and long pants, and now we know why!

Nature likes to protect her beauty lol. Unfortunately the mosquitoes can sometimes be a little thick on windless type nights. Darn bugs! We do try our best to get everyone onto the water quickly, but sometimes late guests can prolong our exposure on shore. Good to hear Chuck hasn't lost his touchšŸ˜‰ Thank you so much Bonnie for paddling out with us, we hope to see you, in a long sleeve shirt and pants, very soon! All the best, - Josh

My girlfriend & I took an 11pm tour. It was just us and the guide, Dustin. Homeboy is really knowledgeable, humorous, and friendly. I donā€™t know the level of interaction on a bigger tour, but with it just being the 3 of us, it was very personable. Like hanging out with your buds on the water. The sky was dark and clear, no light pollution. The glow from the dinoflagellates was amazing. The schools of fish left glowing trails, the caps on the waves glow, fish darting under the water left glowing trails, the kayaks left a trail of glowing blue water ā€¦ the pictures and videos donā€™t do it justice, it has to be seen. I canā€™t recommend it enough.

Chuck and Dustin were the BEST guides! They were patient, informative, and kept us informed and together through the entire journey! The water was alive with light, and we enjoyed the illumination by fish, a manatee, and our own hands. It's a unique adventure made even better by Chuck and Dustin! Thanks for making it amazing!
