Florida Bioluminescence Kayaking Tour | Haulover canal (Titusville)

Overview
Florida bioluminescence is the #1 kayaking trip in the Orlando, Cocoa beach area. We are located about an hour from Universal Studios and The Walt Disney world area theme parks. Our "tourist tours or "visitor tours", as the locals would call them, are ideal for a romantic evening on the water or an expedition in the name of science with the little ones (as long as they are over 5yrs of age). Our tour guides will guide you through the Indian River lagoon and show you something truly magical as we make our way through mangrove trails and the shallow flats of the lagoon.

We will spend a leisurely 90 mins on the water during this tour. You may want to leave the camera at home for this excursion, as the bioluminescence is very hard to photograph unless you have professional equipment.

Well, WAY exceeded my expectations. It was full moon, so I was expecting low visibility. But alas, it was stormy. As soon as we hit the water we could see neon waves and ripples in our wake. The water was choppy because of a storm out over Cape Canaveral (and an awesome lightning show!) and we could see the bioluminescence with the crest of each wave. Very soon, a school of mullet were flopping all around us, lighting up the water to everyone's delight. If that's not enough, we then was two glowing dolphins dance by. The air was breezy and comfortable. Guides Chuck, Ashley and Dustin were amazing; so professional and knowledgeable about the nature and history of the Indian River lagoon. And they worked their tails off. I cannot wait to bring other friends over (east coast - Tampa) to see this awesome Florida gem.

Well that is an awesome review, thank you so much Jill! There is alot to get in to a 90 minute tour, especially with such a beautiful visual distraction, so it is always a welcome surprise to find the ones who listened during the tour šŸ˜‰ Thanks again and we'd be glad to have you guys back out anytime!

This was the first time my husband and went kayaking so I was a little nerves to also do this at night. The tour itself was great. Chuck was great giving us information about the riverā€™s wonders. Justin and Ashley were also our tour guide and were just as friendly. When you arrive just look for the tour company that you booked with sign in. I was a bit confused at first and pretty much ended up almost at every table. LoL. I would definitely come again and try the other tours.

Lol, yes it can be a bit crowded down there for sure.. We're always glad to hear our guides mentioned by name, that normally means they're doing their jobs, or they've lost you in the lagoon then rescued you. Jk šŸ˜œ Thank you so much for coming out with us, we hope to see you again soon!

These guys are very professional and are great with communication. They provided us great directions to get the to launch site. We still showed up late but they were so awesome to switch us to the 11pm tour. Be ready with bug spray for while you wait to get on the water. The guide wasn't in a rush and tried to find more wild life to show us but the bioluminescent algae was enough of a show! If you're ever thinking about doing this you have to hit these guys up! Top Notch service!
