Your day begins with a 30-minute or 1-hour or airboat tour deep into the 4,200 acres (1,699 hectares) of protected swamps, marshes and rivers that make up the Central Florida Everglades. Your US Coast Guard captain will give you an in-depth look at the gators, birds, eagles, trees and plants that make up these beautiful wetlands. The staff was great. They were knowledgeable and friendly. The place is handicap and vegetarian friendly. We made a whole day of it. We did a 1 hour airboat, ate lunch there, went to the park and had a sloth experience. Only 30 minutes from Orlando- and well worth it.

Second time we did this airboat tour, for an hour! With Dennis as our driver we had a very interesting and joyful tour. Love the little zoo, nice place to lunch But really interesting and really fun is the airboat. I would not bring small kids. From 12 year and older....go there!

We had a wonderful hour on the airboat where we spotted 4 alligators. Our tour guide Louis was an awesome guy and really knew the area and it’s history. We saw all kinds of different birds including many bald eagles. Back at the wildlife park we were able to pick up an alligator, pet a snake and watch the alligators and crocodiles being fed. The alligators and crocodiles in this park are brought to them when they are removed from areas where they are not afraid of people and tend to get too close. The park has a wide variety of animals including sloths. We had a meal of alligator from The Chomp House which I recommend ( it really does taste like chicken ). We highly recommend this activity and the park and staff to everyone.
