Your day begins with a 30-minute or 1-hour or airboat tour deep into the 4,200 acres (1,699 hectares) of protected swamps, marshes and rivers that make up the Central Florida Everglades. Your US Coast Guard captain will give you an in-depth look at the gators, birds, eagles, trees and plants that make up these beautiful wetlands. The air-boat ride was very enjoyable, lasted and hour. Mike was the Captain of the airboat and had a lot of good information about the wildlife in the area. We saw a few alligators, it was cold, so they weren’t out like normal. There were young eagles and one mature bald eagle, lots of vultures, a few Snail Kites and one Snail Kite hovered above the boat then landed about 10 feet from the boat and let us take pictures. Great boat ride!!! Enjoyed going through the animal park section with all the different animals, very clean and kept up very well. I was expecting an old looking animal park, but it was new looking and run professionally. There were several tour buses of people there at the time we were there but never felt crowded.

My teenage kids really enjoyed this. The guide was so knowledgeable & made it interesting & fun. Saw alligators, turtles & snakes - oh and a bald eagle. Would recommend you keep your mouth shut !!! Due to my daughter's new food trial of mosquito. Lol
