Your day begins with a 30-minute or 1-hour or airboat tour deep into the 4,200 acres (1,699 hectares) of protected swamps, marshes and rivers that make up the Central Florida Everglades. Your US Coast Guard captain will give you an in-depth look at the gators, birds, eagles, trees and plants that make up these beautiful wetlands. Experience an untouched part of Florida and soak in the quiet, picturesque atmosphere, where you won’t see any city development or homes.

The whole experience was phenomenal! One of the most memorable moments for sure was the airboat tour! Gliding over the lake was a super awesome experience! Also another memorable moment was the alligator feeding.

Very disappointing. I paid for the Drive-Thru Safari and one hour airboat ride. We arrived an hour and a half before our reserved airboat time and they wouldn’t let us do the Drive-Thru Safari. They said it takes 1 1/2 hours to drive the entire park and needed to be at the launch 30 minutes before so we wouldn’t have enough time before or after. I couldn’t believe they wouldn’t even let us in. When I asked why they didn’t tell us how long it would take when I booked or in the emails they sent, they said they just hadn’t gotten around to adding that to the email. What?! The airboat ride was fine. We saw a few alligators, though mostly saw ducks and birds. But, I was so angry with them for not letting my family in the Safari that I couldn’t fully enjoy the experience. We went into the Gator Park while waiting for our airboat time and I was horrified by the tiny enclosures, especially the tiny cage for the Florida panther. It was so sad to see an animal that loves to roam being confined in such a small space. The pond for the alligators was small also. There were multiple alligators crammed together and they barely had room to swim around. There should be a law about the size of the enclosure or at least a modicum of compassion for the animal should guide the size of their area. This place exploits the animals for their financial gain. I completely regret booking and going to Wild Florida.
