Overview

This 2 hour Eco Tour will take you by boat to explore the Backcountry of the Florida Keys. We will cruise through the mangrove islands that make up the Backcountry and Great White Heron National Wildlife Refuge. We will slow down and look for marine life and birdlife. Maybe see a turtle or dolphin. We will take you through "Skinny Water" and look for starfish, rays and sharks. It's a fun adventure not to be missed when visiting the Keys.

What To Expect

Big Pine Key

Explore mangroves of the backcountry gulf side of the Keys by private boat. We will look for marine life and birdlife. We will go slow and look for a turtle or a ray, dolphin or shark.

No Name Key

We will cruise past No Name key and explore smaller mangrove islands like Crawl Key, Little Pine Key and the Water Keys

Great White Heron National Wildlife Refuge

Explore the mangrove islands of the Great White Heron Wildlife Refuge, the nest ground for many birds including Ibis, Great White Heron, Egret and Pelican

Bahia Honda State Park

We will show you the famous Bahia Honda Bridge - a great photo opp, and tell the story of Flagler's Railway.

I went out with my 14 year old son on the backcountry tour with Capt Brian. He’s very knowledgeable about the area and its complex ecosystem. We paddle boarded around Content Key with its sands bars and brightly coloured waters, then did snorkelling further out and saw a lot of marine life. Brian was really great company and gave us both a day to treasure.

Captain Brian is a AWESOME captain! He also helped us out BIG TIME! We had another place cancel on us last minute and Captain Brain came through and made it happen and it was the best day ever! We snorkeled in some amazing crystal waters and he was very accommodating! Everything was ready to go, we had a great time!! Thank you so so much! Also..took some great family photos for us 🤙❤️ We will be back again and there’s no doubt about Who we will go with- Captain Brian!

We had a great time out on the water with Capt. Brian. He has a lot of experience and local knowledge about the area. Our family of 5 went out to the Content Keys to paddleboard and snorkel. We would not hesitate to book a trip with him again!
