The Flyover experience takes 30 minutes from beginning to end. First, on-the-ground stories connect you with the spirit of the Windy City. Then, you’ll discover Chicago from a whole new perspective, as Flyover transports you over, around and through remarkable locations. You'll explore in motion with scenes captured by an award-winning creative team using custom-made drones and helicopter-mounted cameras, while scents, sounds and music deepen the immersion. What fun! We initially had trouble with the ticket kiosk (it took all our information and credit card but didn't print tickets) but a lady at the desk helped me and got us our tickets. (Thankfully, because in the time we waited to talk to her, all the tickets were selling out!) The experience consists of 3 stages. The first room is just a waiting room with some interesting pictures cycling through on big screens. You are essentially just waiting for everyone to get checked in and have their picture taken. (Unfortunately, we were told we got 1 free picture and were handed a QR code, but there was never a picture attached to the code. darn) The second room is a short video describing and exhibiting some interesting aspects and people of Chicago. Then it's on to the ride. What fun! The sights truly surround you as you zoom through the city. I found it delightful! It's not a very long ride, but it was long enough to enjoy.

This is a new attraction in Chicago located in Navy Pier. We had done this in California and figured we would give it a try in Chicago. If you aren't familiar with the experience, it is safe and fun for all ages. You are strapped into a seat and experience what feels like you are flying over Chicago with movement, sights and even smells. It was reasonably priced at $25 for an adult. Only downside, parking in Navy Pier is expensive.

Honestly the #1 most special experience you can have in Chicago. No words can describe what this immersive flight can make you feel! It’s inspiring and Jaw dropping and mindblowing. Great for all ages - not scary at all but still feels like you’re flying over the city
