Overview

On this tour, the boat ride through Folly Beach's most pristine marshlands is a must do and an adventure in itself. Along the way, your captain will teach you about our local estuary and the wildlife that inhabit it. You will get to see many variety of birds and other sea creatures including our resident bottlenose dolphins! Once at Morris you will be able to enjoy the island, look for various sea shells that scatter the area, and take in the stunning views of the historic lighthouse! You will get to explore the barrier island for approximately 1 hour before getting back on the boat.
This tour can be enjoyed by the whole family and is the ultimate saltwater experience in Charleston!

What To Expect

Morris Island Lighthouse

Once your feet hit the sand on Morris, an uninhabited barrier island In Charleston, you can shell hunt, soak up the sun on the beach, take in the picturesque views of the historic lighthouse and explore the island for yourself. You will be on the island for approximately 1 hour.

Captain Luke would be considered my direct competitor as I have owned a charter business for 27 years ,doing the same tour. I can speak with great confidence ,you will be ultra satisfied with his tour. Straight get up ,great Captain. Wonderful experience. Captain Luke was great and explained everything to us along the way. We saw several dolphins along the way and it was beautiful. I found some lovely shells. We really enjoyed it!

My favorite part of our incredible eco tour was the wealth of knowledge between owner, Hailey and her Captain, Luke. They are truly passionate about what they do and can share the secrets of the Lowcountry’s majestic waterways, landscape and vibrant wildlife. From learning how dolphins sleep to seeing several he knew by name frolic near the boat, Luke was attentive, fun and full of cool facts. Hailey, literally raised at Crosby’s, just has a natural way with sharing the magic that she has seen most days of her life. This is not a touristy written scripted tour…this is the real deal!
