We are the Kirchhoff"s. After visiting Fredericksburg over the last 20 years, we decided to move from the Austin area and put down roots in this fantastic community. We are passionate about authentic connection and sharing this soulful place with others.

Alan and Melinda have been married for 29 years and have been blessed with 2 daughters, 1 son-in-law and 1 grandson. Texas Two Step is truly a family affair. Alan is one of the drivers along with occasional driver appearances from our Son-in Law Blake. Our daughter Isabella, the Guest Concierge, assists in getting you set up with your private trip reservation. Two Step Tours aims to be your partner in leading your steps throughout the Texas Wine country. We take pride in taking the time to get to know you up front to craft a unique experience that showcases the local attractions. We combine your preferences with our knowledge of the area to create a private, all-inclusive, stress free, and fun filled dance for you and your friends.

Booked this 3 weeks out, had our trip all planned out and they overbooked and canceled our tour with an email saying “sorry we canceled your tour because we overbooked.” I hope we can find another tour to take now as it’s not long before we go on our trip.

As a small and young business with one tour van, we have to market over various platforms like Trip Advisor and our own website and we are only able to accept booking requests on this platform based on our vehicle availability for that day. We unfortunately had already had the date you requested booked, so we had to decline your booking request since we hadn’t accepted the tour yet. I am unsure of the content of email that is sent from this site, as it does not come from us directly, but on our end we simply accept or decline requests. We are sorry for the inconvenience and that we weren’t able to accommodate this for you. We strive for great customer service and we’re sorry we weren’t able to do that! We booked a weekend trip to Fredericksburg last minute and Texas Two Step was able to get us booked with a tour that far exceeded our expectations! We loved the customization - my husband loves whiskey, so we were able to fit a distillery into our tour as well. Alan was a wonderful guide, ensuring our day was well organized from start to finish. We can't wait to book our next Texas Two Step tour with friends!
