It was a miserable wet day but Corey did really well to manage a large group of us. Pizza stop was our highlight really tasty. Defiantly donā€™t eat too much at the first few stops as you will be struggling by the end. Corey is very informative and if you have any questions he will help and assist. Def worth giving this tour a go.

Thank you. Glad the rain did not damper your enthusiasm and we love the pizza too!

We visited a pizza, a taco and a sandwich place - and then a bakery and a pie place. The food was good but not great - we have had better in small joints in NYC. The group was to big for our preference and the guide kept yelling to manage such large group. We had hoped to hear more about the history of the area food wise. Not just taste it.

We are sorry the tour wasn't for you but tastes are subjective. We go to some of the great local places most guests do not find on their own. When you book our tour we are clear what we do. Although we cover some history, we are not a history tour nor are we a gourmet style food tour where each item is explained. Our About section explains this clearly and everyone who books with us is asked to read that first. Our larger group format is about meeting and mingling with others and the guide talks loudly in front of a large group but in a friendly fun manner, not in a yelling manner. Your perception is your own but as so many reviewers have noted we do deliver the exact experience we say we do. The information is on our website to see and in our communications to read before anyone takes our tours. Our unique format is not the same as a standard food tour and we want people to know the differences before they book our tours.

Went on the food on foot tour today was great fun, coming from England was a great way to find some places to eat around the city, weā€™ve never been here before either so was also fun to see different parts of the city! Corey (who is also the CEO) was super nice really friendly and is so knowledgable about the areaā€™s we where in and where to eat (not just on the tour but in New York itself). We all met at Pen Street Station which was slightly confusing as he only had a small hand made sign (however there is a funny story behind that), then we went over to our first stop Pizza which is one of the best in New York. The pizza was absolutely amazing so much choice and well priced. We had the sausage pizza on the deeper base option - would 100% go back! Second stop we had to take the metro too, this was a taco stop. My personal least favourite but still was nice - lots of choice in terms of fillings. We had one beef and one pork with guacamole in a soft taco. Onto the third stop which was a sandwich joint this was my absolute favourite of the day! I believe it was a porgies style sandwich shop - so much choice! We had a sandwich called Roberto absolutely amazing would 100% go back and would also recommend!! The fourth stop was a small greek bakery was nice lots of different choice we had a almond pastry sort of thing was tasty. Finally the last stop was a pie shop was lovely in there would of loved to eat a whole pie but was simply too full! Corey himself gave loads of restaurant recommendations at the end which was so kind especially as we have never been here before! All in all a very good tour worth every penny!!

Thank you so much for the really great review. We especially thank you for appreciating what we do. We really care about where our guests eat and how much they can save while they are here both on the tour and after. Whether it is our guided tour, self-guided Experience/Tour or any of our other services we want you to experience New York as much like a local as possible. Glad you had fun.
