What To Expect

Food Tours Of Miami

Your small-group food tour of Miami begins in beautiful South Beach (following Covid guidelines; masks and social distancing) where you will get an in-depth presentation of culinary history paired with local specialties! Discover the melting pot that is Miami and enjoy samples of food from around the globe. On this tour, you will taste bite-sized specialties from American, Cuban, French, Haitian, Italian, Mediterranean and Peruvian cuisines. Stop at neighborhood restaurants and ethnic eateries and chat with the owners about their offerings. Throughout your tour, your passionate guide points out architectural landmarks and little-known facts about the SoBe area. Expect to walk about 1.6 miles (2.6 km) during your 3-hour tour. By the time your South Beach Miami food tour concludes, you'll have tasted some local food favorites and learned there's a lot more to Miami than the beach! Please note that restaurants are subject to change based on availability as well as meeting location.

My husband and I did the food tour yesterday and we loved it. The tour is a great way to familiarize yourself with South Beach, and to learn about smaller restaurants frequented by the locals. The places were diverse and mostly family owned. The food and drinks were delicious and larger quantities than the sample sizes we were expecting. There is a little bit of walking involved but nothing uncomfortable (as long as you are wearing comfortable shoes) and you'll get plenty of time to rest and relax at each stop. Stephen was a pleasure to talk to, we enjoyed all the info he gave us about the places we passed by on the tour and he gave us a lot of ideas of other places to try around Miami. We will definitely be joining him on one of his Pub Crawls soon!

Initially, I was not thrilled about being “dragged” on a food tour by my girlfriend. First of all I am a VERY picky eater and second of all I live in Miami so why would I want to go on a tour? I was having a blast within the first 10 minutes of the tour! Our guide Steve was knowledgeable, easy going and fun. The craziest thing is that I ate and ENJOYED all the food!
