What To Expect

Mound Key Archeological State Park

We will travel the back bay waters of Fort Myers Beach towards the Historical Mound Key. Along the way we will be looking for wildlife Dolphins, Manatee and various species of birds.

Danielle Lee, who works at Jack’s restaurant, has been the absolute highlight of our trip. She is authentic, sincere, and pleasant. I really appreciate how caring she has been to our family while staying at the pink shell on vacation. The hotel itself needs to tighten certain things up. For example, the water heater in our room didn’t work, the provided towels were dirty and needed to be exchanged, all of the elevators around the property are super slow, and a manager confirmed they do not compost or recycle. Circling back to Danielle, I’m giving the pink shell a 5 star rating purely because of her. If Danielle wasn’t here, I’d give a 3. The hotel is mediocre but the staff is stellar. Thanks, Danielle!
