Dec 2022
It was a cold windy day in December so we did not get to spend much time sitting outside on the decks of ferry to Ft. Sumter, but once we arrived on the island the day was very nice. We were the first ferry of the day so we got to see the American flag raised. Several volunteers from the crowd assisted with this honor. The Park Rangers were attentive and informative. There's a gift shop on the island so I was able to buy a hat and other trinkets. Well worth the money.

History of the events was interesting. Was not knowledgeable of the historical role Charleston played in the civil war

Excellent tour. Our guides were very skilled and knowledgeable. They additionally pointed out the dolphins that swam near the boat.
