This world-famous pedestrian path is best experienced on foot, in a small group, with a knowledgeable local guide! This 2.5-hour tour travels the trail from Boston Common to Copp's Hill Terrace, providing guests a chance to see ALL SIXTEEN official landmarks on the Freedom Trail.

Our small-group walking tour delves deeply into the years 1760 to 1776, the tumultuous years leading into the American Revolution. We walk in the footsteps of Colonial Bostonians, all of whom grappled with the difficult—yet essential—question of loyalty or rebellion to crown and country.

I've taken a lot of tours over the years and this was one of THE BEST. I had read a lot about this particular tour so my expectations were high and Nick did not disappoint. His presentation was as fresh as if this were the first time he was giving the tour and he wanted to share his enthusiasm with us. We learned so much and he continued to tie the events and timelines together. ps. do bring water and a snack

Excellent experience, and Ted is a fantastic guide. I read a lot of Revolutionary era American history and Ted’s presentation was very well done and easy to follow. I would recommend this tour to anyone.
