Boston's principal role in launching the American Revolution is linked by the brick-lined Freedom Trail. This world-famous pedestrian path is best experienced on foot, in a small group, with a knowledgeable local guide! This 2.5-hour tour travels the trail from Boston Common to Copp's Hill Terrace, providing guests a chance to see ALL SIXTEEN official landmarks on the Freedom Trail.

Our small-group walking tour delves deeply into the years 1760 to 1776, the tumultuous years leading into the American Revolution. We walk in the footsteps of Colonial Bostonians, all of whom grappled with the difficult—yet essential—question of loyalty or rebellion to crown and country.

Our guide was Ted, who was the owner. He was very knowledgeable and obviously passionate about American history. The small group tour was definitely the way to go. Ted spoke clearly and his voice projected so that we could all hear with no problem at all. His delivery was not just informative, but entertaining. He would be an incredible classroom teacher. I am really glad that we chose this tour; the Freedom Trail is simple enough to navigate independently, but having the guide made it easy all the more enjoyable by taking all work out if it so we could just listen and enjoy while we walked. I highly recommend this tour.
