This world-famous pedestrian path is best experienced on foot, in a small group, with a knowledgeable local guide! This 2.5-hour tour travels the trail from Boston Common to Copp's Hill Terrace, providing guests a chance to see ALL SIXTEEN official landmarks on the Freedom Trail.

Our small-group walking tour delves deeply into the years 1760 to 1776, the tumultuous years leading into the American Revolution. We walk in the footsteps of Colonial Bostonians, all of whom grappled with the difficult—yet essential—question of loyalty or rebellion to crown and country.

Nick was an extremely knowledgeable guide with an obvious passion for the history of the city and the events leading up to the American revolution. His way of telling the story and the chronology of the events added to the significance of the individual stops along the way. We would highly recommend Nick to anyone taking this tour.

Drew was our guide and he did a fantastic job bringing history to life. We learned so much and were sad that we had to leave a few minutes early to catch our flight. We took the Boston Water taxi from the airport and they stored our luggage while we did this tour. It was an amazing way to spend a 10 hour layover. Thanks Drew!
