Boston's principal role in launching the American Revolution is linked by the brick-lined Freedom Trail. This world-famous pedestrian path is best experienced on foot, in a small group, with a knowledgeable local guide! This 2.5-hour tour travels the trail from Boston Common to Copp's Hill Terrace, providing guests a chance to see ALL SIXTEEN official landmarks on the Freedom Trail.

Our small-group walking tour delves deeply into the years 1760 to 1776, the tumultuous years leading into the American Revolution. We walk in the footsteps of Colonial Bostonians, all of whom grappled with the difficult—yet essential—question of loyalty or rebellion to crown and country.

Despite Boston's November weather attempt to put a damper on the tour we enjoyed every finger and toe numbing minute. Our guide did everything to shelter us when he could and kept our minds off the cold winds with his deep and whimsical knowledge of Boston. Would go again in a heartbeat. In August.

This tour was the highlight of our weekend in Boston. We left feeling more informed and with a different perspective of Boston - we respect and love the city more than we thought we would. Ted was really a great storyteller. He was full of facts and even came with photos of Paul Revere, Sam Adams, and stuff you'd find in textbooks to help illustrate the story more. We had many questions and he answered them confidently. I highly suggest this tour to anyone!

After working along the Freedom Trail for six years, I've learned that the best stories always include images! Using historical maps, portraits, and even cartoons helps bring the colonial town to life—it's great to learn how much fun you had while exploring the Freedom Trail with me!

Excellent tour. Had two young kids and they were talking about the tour for hours after it was over. Great experience for them! The tour followed timeline that was easy to follow and matched the sights and stops with the story and created a complete picture. Would recommend it to anyone.
